What’s included

Six steps back.

01
Identify the hit

Which update, which date, and which pages lost. Guessing the cause wastes months.

02
Manual action check

Search Console tells you if a human at Google took action. That changes the entire approach.

03
Link forensics

Whether spam links from a previous provider are the cause, and which ones - off-page SEO forensics that hold up.

04
Content quality review

Helpful Content and core updates target thin, duplicated and unhelpful pages - fixed with on-page SEO .

05
Fix & document

Changes made and recorded - essential if a reconsideration request is needed.

06
Reconsideration request

Filed properly where there’s a manual action, with the evidence Google expects.

Why me

The person you hire is the person doing the work.

I run every campaign myself

No outsourcing, no account manager relaying messages. The person who audits your site is the person who fixes it.

Reporting you can verify

Every number comes from your own Google Search Console and Analytics - never a dashboard I control.

Nothing I can’t defend to Google

No bought link networks, no shortcuts that spike then collapse at the next core update.

Tools included, not billed

Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Local Falcon and Whitespark all run on my licences.

Recovery questions.

Can penalties always be recovered?
Most can. Manual actions are usually recoverable once the cause is removed. Core update losses are harder because nothing is “lifted” - you have to become a better result than whatever replaced you.
How long does recovery take?
Manual actions: often 2-8 weeks after the reconsideration request is accepted. Core updates: frequently until the next update runs, which can be months. Anyone promising faster is guessing.
How do I know if I was penalised or just outranked?
A manual action appears in Search Console. A core update shows as a sharp drop on a date that matches a known update. A gradual decline is usually competition, not a penalty - and needs different work.
The previous agency built the bad links. What now?
Common. I audit the profile, remove what can be removed and disavow the rest. Going forward, off-page SEO done properly is what keeps it from happening again.
