I do SEO because I hate seeing businesses pay for work they can’t understand.
I’m Imran Khadim, an SEO consultant based in Lahore. I’ve spent five years working with local shops, clinics, e-commerce stores and startups across Pakistan - and the same problem keeps turning up.

The short version
Business owners were paying every month for “SEO” and had no way to tell if it was working.
A spreadsheet of directory links. A report nobody could read. An account manager who forwarded questions to someone else and came back three days later with an answer that didn’t address what was asked. When I asked owners what had actually been done to their website that month, almost none of them could tell me.
That isn’t a skills problem in this industry. It’s a transparency problem. SEO is easy to sell precisely because it’s hard to verify - and a lot of people have built businesses in that gap.
So that’s the whole model here. I explain everything, I show my working, and I report from your accounts so you can check it yourself. If a month goes badly, you hear it from me first, with the reason and the fix. I’d rather lose a client honestly than keep one who doesn’t know what they’re paying for.
Hear it from me
You’re hiring a person. Here’s what that person sounds like.
I sat down with iSkills to talk about how SEO actually works in Pakistan - what businesses get sold, what really moves rankings, and why so many owners can’t tell whether they’re getting value.

Interview · iSkillsHow I work
Four rules I don’t break.
These aren’t marketing lines. They’re the reasons I turn work down.
01
Diagnose before quoting
I won’t price work before I’ve looked at your site. A quote given before a diagnosis is a guess with an invoice attached.
02
Your accounts, not my dashboard
Reporting comes from your own Search Console and Analytics. Every number I show you, you can open and verify yourself.
03
Nothing I can’t defend to Google
No bought link networks, no cloaking, no shortcuts that spike then collapse at the next core update. Your domain isn’t worth the risk.
04
No lock-in
Free SEO audit to start on everything. If I’m not earning the retainer, leaving should be easy.
The approach
Every site gets a strategy, not a package.
Agencies sell packages because packages scale. I keep a small client list instead, which means every project starts from your business goals, your industry’s competition and where your actual growth opportunities are - not from a tier on a price sheet.
I know the Pakistani market properly
I’ve ranked businesses in the country’s most competitive local markets - DHA, Gulberg, Clifton in Karachi, Islamabad’s F-sectors. I know how people here actually search, including how they mix Urdu and English in the same query, and why so much traffic converts through WhatsApp rather than a contact form.
You work with me, not around me
The person who audits your site writes the strategy and does the work. I have a small team for production - writing, citations, outreach - but strategy, technical work and every conversation you have stays with me. That’s not a scaling problem I’m trying to solve. It’s the product.
I’ll tell you when SEO is the wrong answer
Sometimes the problem isn’t rankings. It’s a site that can’t convert the traffic it already has, or a market where paid search will pay back faster. I say so at the audit stage, before you commit anything.
Plain language, always
You will never get a report full of terms designed to make the work sound harder than it is. If I can’t explain what I did and why it mattered in a sentence you’d repeat to a colleague, I haven’t explained it.
What I work on
Where my work usually starts.
